For international visitors arriving in Atlanta, the challenges are real. The city can feel overwhelming, and safe housing is often out of reach. In many cases, a single month’s rent here costs more than an entire year’s salary in a guest’s home country. Without Villa, many of these visitors would not be able to come.
And yet, their work matters profoundly. Our guests are doctors, researchers, and public health leaders whose efforts strengthen health and well-being across the globe. The COVID-19 pandemic showed us all how urgently the world depends on a strong, connected public health workforce.
Villa makes this possible. Since 1972, more than 28,000 residents from 179 countries have called Villa home while they study, train, and serve in Atlanta. Here, they find community, belonging, and the support they need to pursue their dreams and return home prepared to make a lasting impact.

Villa International welcomes hundred of guests each year, which means that our rooms get some wear and tear and frequently need upgrades and renovation.
By donating to renovate a guest room, you ensure that every resident has a safe, welcoming, and comfortable space to call home while they carry out their important work.
