In 2025 we set out to build our Villa Alumni community of past guests and collect their experience and feedback while at Villa. What we did:

• Digitized former guest email data from 2006-2022
• Sent a former guest survey to nearly 3000 alumni by email and posted across social media platforms
• Asked former Villa guests about their stay, relationships they made, the impact Villa has had on them, where they are now, their hopes for Villa’s future, and more

High Level Results:

• Received 115 responses from former Villa guests from 49 different nationalities – 4.1% response rate

• Respondents spanned from 2009-2025, with one respondent having stayed prior to 2001

• 83 respondents subscribed the Villa newsletter

• 98% of respondents said that Villa helped them feel welcomed and supported in a new country
