Villa is a unique community dedicated to providing support and a home away from home for international guests in Atlanta. Villa thrives on the participation of guests in our community. Please read through the policies below to ensure that Villa is a good fit for you.

Is Villa right for you?

• Villa provides housing for international graduate students, researchers, and visiting scholars. We do not generally accept American residents.

• Villa is a small community which provides support and fosters interaction between guests. We require guests to participate in the activities of the community.

• Villa International is not a full-service hotel. If you require a lot of amenities and personal service, Villa is not for you.

• Guests must have an undergraduate degree and be older than 21 years old.

• Families with children four years of age and younger are invited to stay at Villa for one month as you look for other housing arrangements.

• There are many more applicants than available beds. Your application will be evaluated on room/bed availability and suitability for the Villa community.

Things to Consider

• Applications are accepted online only (no walk-ins) and must be made one week in advance.
• Do not make multiple applications if you are on the waiting list. We will work to fit you in if possible and availability changes daily.

• You are booking a bed, not a room. Please be sure all guests are included in your reservation.

• Guests can stay in a private room for up to six months. They will then move to a shared room if they stay at Villa beyond six months.

• Many guests underestimate the time it takes to find an apartment in Atlanta. We encourage you to book AT LEAST a month for this process as often we are not able to extend the stays of guests who do not book enough time. Most apartments will not accept applications without a Social Security number which takes a few weeks to secure–and then additional time needed to apply for an apartment.
